Shakshouka Records presents Tunis Hotel Stereo, a vinyl LP compilation of Tunisian rock, funk, disco and reggae recorded between 1977 and 1984.

Compiled by Cheb Mimo, the release is the result of years spent tracing memories, finding records and speaking with the artists and dancers who kept these sounds alive. Many of the tracks were originally pressed in tiny quantities and sold to tourists, making this a vivid snapshot of a little-heard North African groove scene.
