About this release
Ahmed Sirour brings summer heat to Jazz Room Records with Brooklyn Bossa, a 7" vinyl mixing Brooklyn bounce with Brazilian bossa and jazzfloor energy.
After his funky take on 'A Love Supreme', Sirour serves a bright dose of jazzy sambanova with Ricardo Barros on acoustic guitar and Teodross Avery on tenor saxophone. The flip, 'T.G.I.F. (Thank God It's Funky)', keeps the mood loose, warm and dance-ready.
