About this release
Akio Nagase joins [Emotional] Especial for four global acid tracks rooted in his Osaka background and long history of dub-influenced electronics.
Jurassic Shanghai Acid combines sound effects, dialogue and samples with acid beats; Mongol 303 loops throat singing and 303 vibrations across a wide-open groove. Okinawa Yunta folds Taketomi Island folk song into Nagase’s gently wriggling acid accompaniment, while Saigon Acid closes with a late-night blend of tradition and acid house.
