About this release
Alex Smoke returns to beats-led electronic music with Is With Us on Other World Music. Arriving a decade after Love Over Will, the album follows a period spent exploring work with musicians, alternative tuning systems and sound outside a purely electronic setting.
Across twelve tracks, Smoke brings sound design, rhythm and emotion back together without tying the record to a single style. He describes the album as a more positive counterpart to its predecessor, reflecting a particular moment in his work. This edition is pressed on green vinyl.
