About this release
Andras Fox and Oscar S. Thorn revisit Embassy Café in a remastered 2026 edition for Dopeness Galore. Recorded live with minimal overdubs in a run-down West Melbourne warehouse in 2013, these cassette demos capture rough, romantic house music built from hiss, distortion and instinct.
The seven-track album balances early-90s deep-house warmth with an outsider DIY character, moving through Romance, Running Late, Waiting…, Slow Dope and After The Rain. DG11001RE places this cult Australian collaboration back on vinyl in a carefully remastered edition.
