About this release
Aura Safari return to Hell Yeah Recordings with Spaced Out Disco, a six-track vinyl LP drawing on 1970s disco, jazz-funk and dub. The Perugia band recorded together with live instruments, then added studio effects and post-production to the performances.
Starlove and Spaced Out introduce the record’s low-slung grooves and synth textures, followed by the dub-influenced Santa Barbara. Cosmic Affair, Disco Mirage and Magik Space Dust complete the reverse. The LP comes in a picture sleeve with an obi strip.
