CAN - Live In Arles 1975

Live In Arles 1975 captures CAN at the Roman Théâtre Antique in the French city of Arles. Irmin Schmidt, Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit and Holger Czukay form the quartet heard here, working through six extended pieces that place the band's improvisational chemistry at the centre of the recording. Insistent rhythms, exploratory guitar and keyboards trace the point where rock gives way to something less predictable.

Unearthed from the Spoon Records archives, this is the seventh instalment in CAN's live album series, overseen by Schmidt and released through Mute. The set runs from 'Arles 75 Eins' to 'Arles 75 Sechs' and is presented on double black vinyl with an insert.
