About this release
Charlotte de Witte brings Farsi vocals and acid-edged techno together on Azadi, a three-track EP featuring NAVA. The title means ‘freedom’, and the record pairs driving percussion and dark synth lines with a voice drawing on Iranian musical heritage.
‘Omid’ develops the tension with urgent bass and layered spoken vocals, while ‘Tales of the Desert’ shifts towards spacious melody and slower-moving textures. Released on KNTXT.
