About this release
Eclectic Avenue Recordings returns with Ghetto Of Excellence EP from CO66Y, aka Steve Cobby. Baby I'm 4 Real opens with a summery deep house groove and a soulful vocal, setting a warm tone for the three-track release.
That Storied Word follows with Cobby's bass playing at its centre. Juvenile Delinquent changes the pace with breakbeats, a weighty bassline and a familiar vocal sample, bringing a different rhythmic angle to the EP's closing stretch.
