About this release
Common Saints follows Cinema 3000 with Equinox, bringing a livelier pace to Charlie J Perry’s blend of soul, funk and psychedelic rock. Recorded with real instruments in his London home studio, the project keeps its emphasis on piano, amplified guitars and an organic drum sound. Supernova, the title track and Honey form the A-side, with Firebird and Electricity on the reverse. The vinyl programme closes with The Magic, an additional track exclusive to this format. This edition is pressed on 180g red splatter vinyl, carrying the music across a six-track 12-inch EP.
