About this release
Music For Autumn brings Glenn Astro’s Delta Rain Dance project into a space between ambient listening and understated groove. Drawing inspiration from Jon Hassell, the seven-track album combines organic percussion and instrumental textures with synthesisers and patient drum-machine patterns. Green Light Fade opens with chimes and rattles, while Mmmh, Nice features Nelson Of The East. Second Sleep places strings and percussion in the foreground, and Plucked b281022 closes with movement from Astro’s modular setup. The album’s balance of acoustic and electronic elements gives its quieter passages a rhythmic thread. This Tartelet edition comes on 140g vinyl in a full-colour matte-varnished sleeve.
