About this release
DJ Spinna closes G.A.M.M’s Follow Me remix series with a version that honours Red Astaire’s original through his own hip hop-soul approach. The release forms part of the label’s 200th-release celebrations, revisiting the record that began its catalogue and paying tribute to Fredrik Lager, the producer behind Red Astaire. Spinna’s Park Jam Remix brings a bumpy rhythm and an uplifting vocal feel, placing warm soul textures around a loose, head-nodding groove. The instrumental on the reverse offers the same production with more space around its rhythmic elements, completing the pairing on this seven-inch edition.
