About this release
Beautiful Rewind places Four Tet's melodic sensibility inside a restless set of rhythms and sampled voices. ‘Parallel Jalebi’ and ‘Kool FM’ sit at the heart of an eleven-track album that moves between soft-focus detail and the sharper pulse of club music. Shorter pieces help the record flow as a continuous listen, while tracks such as ‘Buchla’ and ‘Your Body Feels’ show Kieran Hebden's instinct for making unusual textures feel immediate. A vinyl repress of the album on his Text Records label.
