About this release
The first part of Gigi Masin’s Implodendo In Una Accecante Oscurità presents six pieces in the Lumen sequence. Piano, vocal loops, saxophone and synthetic textures create a spacious setting, with recurring melodies moving between quiet passages and darker undertones. The music also appears within the A Sad Song For A. CD box set, while this first vinyl instalment adds two exclusive tracks to its programme. Lumen 00, 01 and 02 fill the first side, followed by Lumen 03, 04 and 05 on the reverse. Released through Silentes’ 13 imprint as a standalone LP.
