About this release
Great Jobs is the debut album from Kiana Li as gyrofield and the second release on their own Field Research label. The 10-track LP brings dub, post-punk and post-industrial influences into an electronic sound shaped by soundsystem music.
Following Flower Burial and Suspension of Belief, Li shifts the focus towards personality, impulses and the changing sense of self. The album moves from Birdsong and Ma Sacrée through Great Jobs (Don't Wanna), closing with Deafening Overdub and Ende.
