About this release
Harry McCanna introduces Seeing Double with SEE 001, a four-track release centred on patient grooves and rhythmic detail. A Temporarily Happy Man combines shimmering guitar touches, percussion and brief vocal fragments. Hard To Leave follows with carefully edited breakbeats, while Stand & Deliver and Red Moon bring more insistent basslines to the reverse. Known for his work with NorthSouth Records and earlier productions as Henry Hyde, McCanna gives this release a steady, hypnotic character without reducing its individual textures. The EP moves between subtle melodic details, broken rhythms and more direct low-end movement.
