About this release
The Third Summer Of Love pairs Hiele Kinsella’s title piece with ‘Arabesque’ on a Stroom seven-inch. Electronic sound and spoken-word elements place it on the label’s more experimental side. The accompanying text imagines a festival beside concrete sound mirrors, with a mysterious figure tuning them to a supposed love frequency. It gives the release a surreal narrative setting without explaining away its strangeness. The A-side runs just over six minutes, while ‘Arabesque’ fills the reverse at a little over five. A compact two-track entry in Stroom’s catalogue, released as STR7-059.
