About this release
Hodge returns to his Two Moons label with Marsh Lane, following the Sub 100 release. Written while he was developing his first live set, debuted at MUTEK Montreal, the EP connects dancefloor energy with a focus on tension and atmosphere. ‘Trent (Knee Jerk Mix)’ and the title track form the opening pair, with ‘Pluck’ and ‘Haunt’ completing the record. The material draws on the gritty rhythmic approach of Hodge’s roots, using the live-set writing process as a framework for building a connected musical environment.
