Various - 8 Years Of Blur Records Vol. 1

Blur Records surveys its floor-facing house and disco sound through six varied cuts marking eight years of the label. Hotmood opens with loop-heavy funky disco, while Delfonic and Reiner Von Vielen with Disko Dust Trip keep the energy bright and hook-led.

Crackazat reshapes Scruscru with a jazzy house touch, Shaka moves into a restrained late-night mood and Sven Wegner closes on deep drums and saxophone. An accessible anniversary set with plenty of colour.
