About this release
A Sillybration II completes Sushitech’s remastered survey of Housey Doingz and the South London roots of 1990s tech house. Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, David Coker, Laurant Webb and Justin Bailey helped shape this stripped-back blueprint of tough drums, dub pressure, acid movement and late-night swing.
The Poet and Cockney Doings open with low-key tech-funk before Brother In Bump and Chess With Dwarves push towards a more jacked, eccentric sound. Dwarves In Dub, Ride and Naff Off close the eight-track set in cosmic, spacious form on limited 180g double vinyl.
