Housey Doingz - Baby Dunit

Baby Dunit brings together Chicago house foundations and the sound of London's early tech-house scene. Housey Doingz rework material associated with Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle, shaping it into two versions with a tougher rhythmic frame and a trippy, late-night feel.

The main mix keeps the vocal at its centre, while the dub pares the arrangement back and gives the shifting percussion more room. First heard in the late nineties, these versions capture a meeting point between the two cities' club sounds. This reissue presents 'Baby Dunit' and its dub mix on a limited hand-stamped twelve-inch.
