About this release
Spring EP brings Insight and vocalist Ashaye to Terrestrial Funk with four tracks spanning house and a more downtempo, dub-oriented sound. “Starry Eyed” and the title track lead the A-side, placing Ashaye’s airy vocal presence within the duo’s club-focused production. The reverse revisits “What Is This World Coming To?” in its NA Mix before “Here We Go Again” closes the record. Following Insight’s releases on Strictly Rhythm in the early 1990s, the EP connects their earlier work with fresh material. The twelve-inch presents three house cuts alongside the slower, dubbed-out version of their established song.
