Jodesha & Star Ride - Star Ride

Star Ride brings Jodesha & Star Ride’s San Diego soul recording to Athens Of The North, with The Answer on the reverse. The release connects a local California sound with the modern soul scene that later embraced it, balancing a smooth groove with an expressive vocal performance. Collector Ian Wright helped bring the original record to wider attention through his selections in the mid-2000s. This single puts both songs together in a straightforward pairing, giving each side its own place in the group’s story.
