About this release
John Beltran presents Sol Set on Love Revolution, a four-track EP combining live instrumentation with jazz, soul and Brazilian rhythmic influences. Through Fire opens with flute melodies and flowing percussion. War Of The Hearts reworks the Sade song with Taylor Taylor on vocals, while Earl Green sings the title track. Maragogi closes with light drums and a samba-inflected shuffle. Following the project’s Ola De Novo album, the EP continues Beltran’s collaborative approach, giving the vocal performances and instrumental arrangements space within warm, dance-oriented grooves. Released on his All Good Music label.
