About this release
Johnny Clarke’s ‘Blood Dunza’ returns through Real Rock Records, pairing the roots vocal with ‘Blood Dunza Dub’ by King Tubby & The Aggrovators. The 1978 recording became a favourite in Jah Shaka’s sound-system selections.
Clarke’s unmistakable voice leads the A-side, with the reverse giving the rhythm space to unfold in King Tubby’s dub treatment. Two complementary cuts on a 7-inch reissue.
