About this release
Lost & Found introduces Jorja Smith’s songwriting through a mix of contemporary R&B, soul and more stripped-back passages. Released by FAMM in 2018, the debut gathers songs developed over several years, with her voice providing a consistent thread through different production styles. The title track opens before Teenage Fantasy and Where Did I Go?, while February 3rd and The One explore more intimate spaces. Blue Lights brings a sharper social focus on the second side, followed by Lifeboats (Freestyle), Goodbyes and Tomorrow. The closing Don’t Watch Me Cry places the vocal at the centre of a spare arrangement.
