About this release
JS Zeiter’s Context Collapse brings eight dub-techno pieces together across a double album for Lempuyang. ‘Arrival’ opens a sequence that moves between the more airy feel of ‘Interplay’, the inward-looking ‘Open’ and the longer stretch of ‘Paradox’, before closing with ‘Departure’. The music draws on the immersive, echo-shaped approach associated with Zeiter’s earlier records, balancing space and rhythm without relying on abrupt changes. Written and produced by Zeiter, with his own artwork, the album was mastered and cut by Pitchcraft Mastering. Its pacing allows the different shades of the material to develop across four sides.
