About this release
Lantern Rec reissues Keith Hudson’s Entering The Dragon, drawing on the UK edition of his 1974 album. Fully licensed and remastered, the thirteen-track LP brings together vocals, dub and DJ cuts over rhythms supplied by the Soul Syndicate.
The title track opens a set that includes ‘Man From Shooters Hill’, ‘War War’, ‘I Don’t Know You’ and ‘Words So True’. Hudson’s raw approach to rhythm and song captures the sound-system experimentation running through Jamaican music at the time.
