About this release
Downtown EP Pt.1 launches Kerri Chandler’s self-titled label with four tracks connecting his earlier Downtown Records catalogue to a new series of releases. Three selections revisit that period of his work, joined by one previously unreleased track. Mommy What’s A Record and Downtown share the first side, with Moving In and The Phone Call on the reverse. The EP focuses on Chandler’s established deep house approach, bringing the four recordings together in the label’s new sleeve design as the opening instalment of a wider catalogue project.
