About this release
Detroit house figure Kyle Hall links with New Zealand drummer Cory Champion for two warm, loose-limbed cuts on Wild Oats, bringing live percussion into a soulful deep-house framework.
Acuna De Mar rolls on tactile clicks, a buoyant low end and cosmic-jazz keys, while Steppin' tilts the rhythm slightly off-centre for a wonkier, more playful counterpart.
