About this release
Layne & Chang’s Shake Your Body brings disco experience and a taste for dub to Whiskey Disco. Layne Fox, known for his work with 40 Thieves and Disco Dimensions, joins Chang for two original cuts, with Idjut Boys’ Dan Tyler providing the remixes.
The title track opens the A-side alongside ‘In The Desert (Dub)’. On the reverse, Tyler reshapes ‘Shake Your Body’ into his Idjut Dub and Idjut 808 Version. This four-track 12" connects disco grooves with the more spacious, psychedelic end of club music.
