Lovehandles - Reworks EP

Lovehandles opens Oswego Music with four reworks and a closing skit that move between Balearic pop, disco and funk. Unrequited Dub stretches an eighties favourite into an approximately eleven-minute slow jam. Stars Before The Sun follows with string synthesiser textures and drum breaks drawn from a Hare Krishna disco-funk recording. On the reverse, Crystal Lites uses delays and reverb to reshape its disco source, while It’s A Long Shot extends an eighties drum-machine pop track around ethereal vocals and minor-key melodies. The Drum-Set (Skit) closes the record with a brief rhythmic interlude. All five cuts appear on this vinyl-only 12-inch.
