Luca Lozano - Da Vinci

Klasse Wrecks co-founder Luca Lozano brings four tracks to Phonica Records with the Da Vinci EP. Made during sessions in a basement studio, the record draws on a collection of older hardware and samples without losing its direct club focus. 'The Magnificent' and 'Delta Force' both feature the Korg Delta, a late-seventies synth that helped shape their sound.

'Eau De Dave' returns to a fidget-house influence, while 'Crunchy Nut' takes its cue from early UK tech house. A modified 707, long-kept samples and a touch of slap bass give the closing track its particular character. All four appear on this Phonica Records twelve-inch.
