About this release
Malik Kassim and Cem Mo join Cataleya Music with Breaking Clouds EP, bringing together broken house rhythms, warm instrumentation and deep club grooves. The title track layers flute, brass and keys over gliding percussion, while Short Stay pairs bright synths with a more direct deep house pulse.
DJ Spinna takes Breaking Clouds into his Galactic Soul sound on the reverse, tightening the drums and adding weight to the arrangement. The three-track 12" connects the duo’s melodic approach with a fuller, more insistent remix.
