About this release
Marc Meistro’s Extended Play Dubs draws on Washington DC’s long-running Extended Play party for four tracks on Sweet Breeze Sound. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water opens with Rhodes and organ contributions from Daniel Meinecke over a reworked disco foundation.
Be More Bruk turns towards Baltimore club rhythms, while Roll Em Up draws on early-1980s New York dance music. Julien, Sammy, et Jojo closes the 12-inch with an African disco-inspired edit, bringing a different rhythmic flavour to each side.
