About this release
Marina Zispin’s Now You See Me, Now You Don’t brings Bianca Scout and Martyn Reid’s synth-pop into a ten-track album centred on memory, fragility, life and death. Formed in 2018, the duo connect dreamlike melodies with colder electronic textures and surreal storytelling. Their debut 12-inch for Night School preceded this Scenic Route release, which develops the partnership through pieces including “Death Must Come”, “Piece Of Mind” and “Deep Blue”. The record moves between intimate reflection and more otherworldly imagery, with “The Bells” and “The Scythe” closing the sequence. This vinyl LP presents the full album.
