Mondo Freaks - Won't You Decide (musclecars Remix)

Melbourne ten-piece Mondo Freaks hand “Won't You Decide” to New York duo musclecars for a deep house rework with a distinctly jazzy feel. Shuffling drums, layered percussion and wandering keys give Aaron Mendoza's lead vocal plenty of room, while the backing voices keep the band's boogie and funk roots close to the surface.

The remix stretches to just over eight minutes, letting its groove develop at an unhurried pace. An instrumental version opens up the same arrangement for DJs, and the original single edit completes the record, making its first appearance on vinyl. Every Star Records present all three versions on a limited 12-inch: a warm meeting of live-band soul and patient, club-focused production.
