About this release
Mossafer and Sohrab split the eighth Kolony Gorky release, pairing low-slung electronic rhythm with deep, atmospheric techno. Mossafer opens with the post-punk-inflected ‘Roko’ before moving into the reflective textures of ‘Ekbatan’.
Sohrab takes the reverse with the looping percussion of ‘Imagine A World’ and the deeper, headier ‘Mehrabad (Parvaaz)’. Four tracks continue the Tehran-rooted label’s exploration of distinctive club music.
