About this release
Mozaik Ses return to Delights with The Last Shootout and Wormhole, two pieces drawn from the same studio session as their debut single. The project brings together JJ Whitefield, members of VuVuVu and label founder Markey Funk for a meeting of cinematic funk and free improvisation.
The Last Shootout supplies the action-theme energy, while Wormhole settles into a slower groove before opening into fuzz-heavy psychedelia. Released as a double-sided 7-inch, the pair connect the musicians' loose studio interplay with the atmosphere of 1970s European crime-film soundtracks.
