About this release
musclecars make their Neroli debut with Black Planet, a three-track EP moving from Afro-electronic club music into space-funk and beatless textures. The title track opens the record with a futuristic arrangement, followed on the reverse by Euphoria’s fluid funk.
Black Planet (Cosmic Mix) closes with a beatless treatment of the title track. The regular NERO065 edition brings the three pieces together on a 12", showing the duo’s range across more rhythmic and atmospheric material.
