Nightmares On Wax / Marlon Lopez - Patang

Nightmares On Wax and Marlon Lopez reconnect with the roots of bleep on Patang, combining George Evelyn’s studio experience with a collaboration developed in Ibiza. Cascading synth lines and echo treatments sit over tight drum-machine rhythms on the title track, while Cancel Dat! brings heavily swung beats, crisp snares and crunchy kicks into a house setting. The reverse holds two distinct reworkings: Wulf’s Jam 4 Jamie pays tribute to Jamie Principle, and RL’s Get It Together Mix locks the groove into a more concentrated shape. The EP balances spacious electronic textures with the rhythmic weight associated with Evelyn’s early productions.
