About this release
The second volume of Music Makes Me Deeppa marks five years of Deeppa Records with five selections from established contributors and newer collaborators. Nutty Nys’s The Promise opens in a Lars Behrenroth remix, followed by Christophe Salin’s The Visit. Thierry Tomas begins the reverse with My Smile, bringing R&B-informed vocals into a warm house arrangement. Darryl Baalki’s Heavenly Sweetness appears in a Session Victim remix, before Eloi closes with the piano-led Take Your Time. The compilation connects vocal soul, jazz textures and deep house rhythms across two sides.
