About this release
OCA’s Aging returns to Métron Records, revisiting the Berlin duo’s reflections on memory, experience and the passing of time. Yo van Lenz and Florian T M Zeisig made the album’s sound palette with an Alesis QS6 synthesizer, combining familiar dance-music shapes with ambient textures and melodic pop influences.
The nine vinyl tracks follow everyday moments through pieces such as Baby’s First Blade Of Grass, Time With Your Dog and Stretching In Water. Originally released in 2019, the album later formed part of a wider connection with Kelela, who featured OCA in her Aquaphoria mix before working with both musicians on Raven.
