About this release
Natal Zaks returns as Picture with Yyyyyyyyy, a four-track 12-inch on P-TON, npm’s sub-label. Delayed chords, repeating bass patterns and tightly clipped drums create a focused strain of dub techno built around patient changes and sustained momentum.
From Faaaaaaaaa to Tuuuuuuuu, the EP explores subtle variations in rhythm, texture and space. Written and produced by Zaks, the record was mastered and cut by Kassian Troyer at Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin.
