About this release
The Prodigy's 2004 studio album returns in this twentieth anniversary double vinyl edition. ‘Spitfire’, ‘Girls’ and ‘Hotride’ set the tone for a record built around forceful beats, distorted electronics and sharply cut samples. Across twelve tracks, Liam Howlett pushes the group's sound towards a stripped, studio-driven attack, with tracks such as ‘Memphis Bells’ and ‘Action Radar’ stretching its rhythmic palette. Guest appearances include Juliette Lewis on ‘Spitfire’ and ‘Hotride’, Kool Keith on ‘Wake Up Call’, and Liam and Noel Gallagher on ‘Shoot Down’. Presented across two records in a gatefold sleeve on XL Recordings.
