Carl Finlow's Random Factor project connects house, techno and electro on Too Fast Into The Future, originally released in 1998 by 20/20 Vision. This double vinyl reissue brings back its mixture of precise machine rhythms, processed voices and more reflective passages. First Principles introduces the album's fluid, fusion-tinged approach, while Lead Me Blind and the title track work vocal fragments into lean electronic grooves. When Daylight Fades gives the voice a more prominent role, and In Visible Light brings a jazzier rhythmic feel. The album moves between dancefloor momentum and closer listening without losing its distinctive synthetic character.
