Romare - Oblivion

Romare's fifth album directs Archie Fairhurst's sample craft towards questions of technology, the environment, social justice and power. Downtempo passages, broken beats and bubbling house grooves frame a more brooding set of tracks.

Oblivion draws on recorded history while keeping its concerns firmly in the present. The thirteen-track album is spread across two records and presented in a picture sleeve on All You See.
