Sa Pa - Rhythm From Ambient

Sa Pa follows Girls On Tour with four tracks that move between dub techno, deep house and more abstract rhythms. The title track opens with a long, weighty groove, its shifting percussion and submerged textures setting the pace. 'Rhythm' takes a rougher approach, revisiting an industrial-leaning piece originally intended for Sa Pa's 2015 MDR EP.

On the flip, 'Last Dance (Ballroom Dub)' opens out into an extended deep house cut with a warm, lingering atmosphere. 'Bo Riddim' slows the record down, placing heavy drums and low bass beneath scattered melodic fragments. Released on Sa Pa's Dub Techno For Life label, this four-track 12-inch comes in a picture sleeve.
