About this release
Secret Vault 001 opens the label's catalogue with two uncredited disco edits. Track 1 centres on a female lead vocal, with slap bass, bright guitar passages and extended breakdowns giving the arrangement room to develop. Track 2 brings a more buoyant disco funk rhythm and an expressive male vocal, changing the energy while keeping the focus on the song. The edits stretch and reshape their material around the groove, balancing instrumental detail with clear vocal hooks. One cut occupies each side, with the contrast between the smoother opener and the more energetic flip giving the record its range.
