About this release
Shadow Child draws together several strands of his production on DNA, a four-track release through Food Music and London Records. Falle Acid features Falle Nioke, placing the singer’s voice against a driving 303 line. Fifty One takes a different route through deep, rolling jungle, while Song For Sophia turns towards house with spacious pads and subtle electronic details. Holding Back closes with Delphic, bringing melodic breaks and progressive influences into the arrangement. The EP moves between those contrasting rhythms while keeping the emphasis on the musical sources behind Shadow Child’s club sound.
